Medical Disclaimer
Please read this carefully before using our services
Neuro Calmora is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, educational or legal advice, diagnosis or treatment.
1. We are not medical professionals
The team behind Neuro Calmora are parents, educators and technologists — not doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, or qualified medical practitioners. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as professional advice.
2. Information is for support, not diagnosis
The routines, scripts, strategies and tools we provide are designed as practical, everyday supports for families living with neurodivergence. They are not diagnostic tools, and they should never be used to self-diagnose or replace a formal assessment by a qualified professional.
3. A stepping stone, not a replacement
We know how long waiting lists can be — for CAMHS, educational psychology, occupational therapy, ADHD assessments and more. Neuro Calmora is intended as a helpful stepping stone while you wait for professional support. It can give you ideas to try, language to use, and small routines that might ease daily life.
But it is not, and never will be, a replacement for the tailored, face-to-face care your child deserves from qualified professionals.
4. Every child is different
What works for one neurodivergent child may not work for another. What helps this month may not help next month. Always use your own judgement, observe your child's responses, and adapt any strategy to suit their individual needs, preferences and sensory profile.
5. Consult a professional
If you have concerns about your child's health, development, behaviour or wellbeing, please speak to your GP, paediatrician, school SENCO, educational psychologist, occupational therapist, or another qualified professional. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read on this website.
6. No liability
Neuro Calmora accepts no liability for any loss, injury or adverse outcome resulting from the use of information, tools or strategies provided on this site. You use the site and its content entirely at your own risk and discretion.
7. Emergency situations
If your child is in crisis, experiencing severe mental health difficulties, or you believe they may be at risk of harm to themselves or others, please contact emergency services immediately (dial 999 in the UK), call NHS 111, or visit your nearest A&E. Neuro Calmora is not equipped to handle emergencies.
8. Updates to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer as our services evolve. The current version will always be available on this page. If you have any questions about the scope of what we offer, please contact us.
