Same order every night. Start 60 minutes before lights-out.

  1. 1.Dim the lights
  2. 2.Pyjamas + teeth
  3. 3.Warm drink (no screens)
  4. 4.Story or audiobook
  5. 5.Weighted blanket on
  6. 6.Quiet chat / kiss goodnight
  7. 7.Lights out

If they can't sleep:

Don't fight it. Let them listen to a story in dim light. The bed stays a safe, calm place — not a battleground.
